Is it basically a way to measure how often you go to those sites and/or how much time you spend on them?

The basic gist is this - Using Brave as your browser generates BAT based on your ad consumption. You then configure Brave to 'tip' the website periodically from the dashboard. This could be based on visit, usually a monthly withdrawal from the BAT wallet baked into Brave. Unrelated - I haven't forgotten our conversation, working through something before I finish my response. I look at our conversation almost daily.
