I am always looking for playlists to listen to while I am at work. The primary work I do is writing, so I can't have lyrics playing, and I need something with a reasonable beat and feeling of momentum, to keep propelling me along. Ambient is good, but often too ambient, and drifts in meaningless directions that wind up distracting me... or feature a specific tone or hook or sound that pulls me away from my work focus. Recently I came upon the Organica playlist on Spotify and it has been blowing my mind. Over 8 hours of gloriously curated "deep tribal sound, combining electronic elements and organic instrumentation", and I am IN LOVE. I've even begun listening to it in my shop, while working on my motorcycle... JoeBob says Check it Out!
