Maybe this question is too edgy, but I'm curious. For someone young like me, I have a whole laundry list of things I want to get better at...But I want to know how some of the more established crowd thinks about introspection and improvement.
Personally, I want to get off of nicotine. I haven't had any in two weeks, so I'd say it's going alright so far? The cravings suck. I've noticed I can satisfy them for a little bit with enough coffee, so I've been drinking a fuck ton of it. The actual physical withdrawal only lasted for three or four days, so now it's mostly a mind game...But I think that's the most difficult part of this process, because you have to keep it going for the rest of your life.
Not to sound like a cliche, but I should have never started smoking. I'm glad I'm trying to do something about it now; this is the first time I've really given it a solid go, and I'm hoping it'll be the last (statistics be damned).
Anyways...Do you guys have any habits you're trying to kick? Things you want to get better at?
