I cast a money spell on Earth Day. It was the last day of a Sagittarius moon and something sounded fitting for honoring Jupiter on Earth Day. It felt very stirring and actually motivated me to make some changes in my life! I hope that the mind set change makes me a little bit more efficient- more successful. Also, I learned that a lot of people prefer to call these types of spells money spells. I also learned about the planetary vowels! It was interesting to delve a little bit more into my passion for historical beliefs and superstitions in a practical way and learn a little bit more about it on a day that celebrates life, death, and the cycles of gaia. I hope everyone had a great week!
Manly P. Hall (1901-1990) in his Secret Teachings of All Ages[8] discusses the correspondences: "The Greek initiates also recognized a fundamental relationship between the individual heavens or spheres of the seven planets, and the seven sacred vowels. The first heaven uttered the sound of the sacred vowel Α (Alpha); the second heaven, the sacred vowel Ε (Epsilon); the third, Η (Eta); the fourth, Ι (Iota); the fifth, Ο (Omicron); the sixth, Υ (Upsilon); and the seventh heaven, the sacred vowel Ω (Omega). When these seven heavens sing together they produce a perfect harmony which ascends as an everlasting praise to the throne of the Creator. (See Irenæus’ Against Heresies.)" ------- On top of that, money spells are usually written as general abundance spells. However, for the purpose of explaining- I will tell you what I did. I used 3 dimes for the age of the asker. I used 7 pennies collected from 7 parking lots. A lot of spells ask for a silver objects and "found" objects, thus those choices in absurdity. I also used a green candle with 3 wicks (salted), 7 white candles for the circle (for the planetary vowels), and an aromatherapy tool with frankincense and myrrh. Green and salt represent money. I also used gold and the alcohol suspending the pure gold flakes. Generally, you can find a good idea for spells online. I looked up a lot of Jupiter type of spells because it was the last day for a Sagittarius moon and I also mixed in a general earth honoring for wording. It seems to be a lot of show and the results typically work after 5 months, but sometimes it is fun to dabble in the chaos with a bit of chaotic behaviour of your own. If you have any more questions about the spell or planetary vowels, you may ask. Also, if you want to talk about it, I don't mind.
I have so many questions. In regards to planetary vowels, what role do they play? Philosophically, conceptually, practically? For your spell, what's the motivation behind it? Is it like an elaborate prayer? Are there philosophical aspects to preparing and performing it? What goes through your head and your heart during the process? Lastly, what belief system are you working with and what resources do you use to learn what you learn?
It was mainly to help a beloved one. So it was more like concentrated power and I asked lots of questions and told them to picture a light and I used the color wheel to bring it to their favorite color. It seemed help the person with work efficiency and making drastic changes in their lives, so it worked in my opinion. There are a lot of philosophical aspects to it. I don't know much about planetary vowels yet. I just learned them days before the spell. I will list my resources: https://voces-magicae.com/2009/12/17/greek-vowels-and-the-chaldean-planets/ https://hellenicmagicalpath.blogspot.com/2013/03/thoughts-on-hellenic-religion.html?m=1 https://www.the-numinous.com/2015/07/29/money-spell/ http://www.thesmartwitch.com/site/mobile?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.thesmartwitch.com%2FThe_Smart_Witch_Magic_Spell.html#2939 https://www.groveandgrotto.com/blogs/articles/35427009-the-faery-star https://www.llewellyn.com/journal/article/2320 I also used several ancient grecian texts, but I have no idea how to link them as they are on my desktop for private use. These resources should help you if you are interested in looking up some points yourself. I practice these sort of rituals very sparingly and consider it like playing the lottery. It may not make much sense, but when you do get what you desire, it is very tantalizing to chalk it up to something you did as preparation.
Today is gorgeous in Ann Arbor. I'm going to go for a bike ride with the kids or at a minimum, play some baseball in the back yard. Happy Earth Day!
It sounds like you're gonna have some good, rewarding work ahead of you. I watch videos of all sorts of ecological restoration videos on YouTube from time to time. Some of the forest ones are so interesting, because they'll show before and after shots, sometimes only with five years in between, and the differences are like night and day.
