Hey all, here we have the material selection for this edition of Sci-Fi club:
The Red One by Jack London.
We have a lot of good suggestions in the previous thread that we'll have to get to. I settled on this one for the starter because it a) fills the accessibility and length criteria well and b) it had been added to the backlog in a previous incarnation of the club.
Does two weeks sound reasonable for everyone? At that point I'll post a discussion thread with some canonical discussion prompts. Simultaneously we can vote on an accumulated list of material for the next selection.
Let me know if anyone needs to be added to/subtracted from the shoutouts list.

Looks like it's available for free on Kindle as well. I'll download it and give it a try. Haven't actually read a book in ages. :-)
Thanks for organising this, two weeks sounds fine. I didn't know Jack London had written any science fiction so this should be interesting.
