Makes sense. Usually I see learning styles used an excuse when someone does poorly in a class, because it wasn't taught using their supposed preferred learning style. It probably sounds better to say that than "I did poorly because I thought the class was boring" but if you think about it that's basically what they're saying.

Agreed. As an 8th grade math teacher my experiences have been related to students approaching me in a blaming fashion. You don't understand me Mr. K., "I'm an active learner (meaning kinesthetic). You need have us "do stuff" more in class, then I'll do better"

A student's poor performance is supposedly due to my lack of turning algebra into a physical education, or dance class.

Sorry dude. That's just not happening here. Find a way to go with the flow instead brother.
