It sound like, as a legal matter Uber will not be found at fault. I'm sure there will be a civil case and it's anyone's guess how that shakes out.

Can this hurt Ubers reputation? I don't know if Ubers reputation can go lower but hell you took their credit card so people still trust them to some extent.

yeah i think it can because previously their self-driving stuff had a pretty clean rep, right?

I thought Arizona was a partial fault state so uber would be at fault but it’s a matter of percentages. It’s unlikely that there would be criminal charges though but it would be really hard to find anyone criminally negligent unless the driver was texting or something
