Based on my current thinking I'd say I probably fall into the agnostic camp. I don't believe that we currently can know if God exists or not and I will never fault anyone for choosing to believe or not believe. I do take issue with people using religion as a cover for doing bad in the world or as an excuse to be an asshole to people/murder others, etc. I think religions are interesting and I like to learn about different ones, so I take my going to church as an opportunity to be supportive of a loved one and to learn more about the world while I do it, plus we usually do lunch afterward and catch up. The world always needs more of this. The best conversations I have had, the best sermons I have gone to, they always contain elements of how we can inspire ourselves, empower ourselves, to do good and help each other out.
