As a guy with mediocre insurance who has dropped some $13K this year, I am really fretting about what is going to happen next year.
Dont worry, its like everything Trump does, its all just hot air and freak out by media idiots that cant do independent analysis or understand what they are writing about. Read the analysis below, actually may be a good thing for most ppl and will do nothing to kill ACA
Yeah it's ugly, and I'm super glad that my family has access to insurance as government employees. Interestingly enough, my wife's plan through the state is literally half the cost of what we'd pay for my insurance as a federal employee, despite offering the same coverage (mainly because the state kicks in more towards the premiums than the federals do). To this day I don't understand the hatred of Obamacare, although Republican marketing efforts have gone a long way to explain it (given that 1/3 of Americans didn't know that the ACA and Obamacare are the same thing).
Also to balance things out here are some of the dangers of what trump is doing. https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/10/8/16439492/trump-obamacare-association-health-plans but i guess once again good for people who are in the low risk pool
