Given the recent demise of Harry Harrison, I'll nominate "The Stainless Steel Rat". I've never read it but it's on my round-tuit list.

I'm down with that. Seems appropriate to honor his work. Stainless Steel Rat is a 12 book series so if we like it, it could send us all down a cool path for some time to come. I'd be okay with it. What about you guys: psulli, mk, b_b, sounds_sound, winston, JakobVirgil@, AnSionnachRua, caio, kuli... have any of you read this before? Any objections or other suggestions?
