Two years is a long time, so ... who knows? :)

For Europe, I'm kinda towing my wife around and showing her all the cool shit I like. She's nervous about traveling due to weird dietary constraints, but once she gets there, I know she's gonna love it.

So we are spending the majority of our time in the UK. London > Stonehenge > Devon > Bath > Cardiff > Liverpool > Isle of Man > Islay > Edinburgh > Fountains Abbey > York... that's sort of the "loop" we are looking at right now. Then, maybe grabbing a flight from Leeds to Budapest, spend a weekend with friends, and then fly back to London for several days before we head home again.

It's not that adventurous, but I think we need to set a reasonable pace and level of comfort for my wife. Once she has that experience, I expect she'll be more willing to travel beyond the English-speaking countries. :-)

The UK is nice. Sadly, I didn't make it out of London in the half year that I lived there.

Are you hitting up any distilleries on your way? ;)

Laphroaig is the primary, but while on Islay I figure I'll hit Ardbeg (next door to Laphroaig) and Bunnahabhin. I'm also hoping to stop along the way at various distilleries we pass in the lowlands...
