I was blown away by this film and had never considered the superman analogy. I love it. Makes me want to watch it again. I really love Adam Sandler when he's not trying to be funny. I also loved him when he was trying to be funny up until Big Daddy, after that film he lost me.

The weird thing is that in punch drunk love Adam play the same character he played in all the movies preceding it. A man that switches between being a push over and a maniac.
