I've wondered if we will learn to love Robusta. I hope genetic engineering can improve it's taste.

Apparently Vietnam went from 6,000 tons of robusta in 1975 to 2 million tons today. It's a crop, after all.
I have a coworker or two considering getting their R Grader because of that. We'll see, WCR is doing a ton of work on Arabica varietals, hopefully they'll have some new generation plants ready before the industry is too adversely affected.
