I'll just add that the goth club in my town has some great shows, but does not encrypt their order page, expecting people to enter their credit card info in the clear.

If you report that to MasterCard, they will freak the FUCK out. I've done that because security is more important to me than your right to be an idiot and I got a thank you email from their security team.

Oh cool. Any idea where to report that? I didn't see anything on Mastercard's website.

I called the number on the back of the card, explained that I ran across a website taking CC numbers without HTTPS and they sent me an email form to fill out. Last one I ran across was about 5 years ago, but the process should be the same.
