The real question is how can a company that with negative revenue be worth anything?

but if we ignore the last quarters losses as IPO related the price is still 50 to 70 times earnings we live in retarded times but that is not a good bet.

But my math is based on number of active users [pairs of eyes that see ads] Zuckerberg claims 955 million active users.

Being as my wife alone has 8 fake accounts so she can cheat at games. I have 2 one for work one my boss can't read assuming I had a boss.

I have grave doubts on the validity of that number I estimate about 1/3 of those "people" are real. 30 / 3 = 10 + 2 cuz folks are stupid = $12.

If we stare into the face of the unspeakable truth. (web ads are not worth the paper they are not printed on) the company is nearly worthless.

I think Facebook can sustainably generate revenue, just not anywhere near a rate that grows in accordance with their valuation. As opposed to Groupon, which I think is literally just a fad and almost completely unsustainable, Facebook is merely massively overvalued. It's not that the Emperor has no clothes...more like he's in a thong.

I agree whole-heartedly

I agree. They have an incredible resource of data, but don't really have a platform that leverages it for profit. I'm not looking to spend money when I am on Facebook.

They should create an Amazon competitor, or buy Overstock.com or something similar, then they might have an edge. The service they provide gets worse the more they try to monetize it.

It's very true, they aren't worth the paper they aren't printed on. Truth is, the whole internet is essentially worthless. As is the bulk of the "services" sector of our economy. Hell, even our money has no real value. The whole thing is a giant house of cards. Careful not to sneeze!

The way I see it since it is just a scam we should split it more equitably.

Maybe so.
