Ok. Since you didn't like Annie Hall, I'm going to try to suggest some of his movies which, I feel, steer away from that style. Woody is know for both his comedies and his dramas, but they do no always, as in Annie Hall, intermingle. Also, I'm restricting myself to the one I've watched. The better comedies:
The better dramas: Take the Money and Run
Love and Death
Zelig
So-so: Interiors
Crimes and Misdemeanors
Husbands and Wives
More bad than good, but not BAD-bad: Everyone Says I Love You (a musical, Allen's only one)
Bullets Over Broadway
Deconstructing Harry
Match Point
The lazy ones: Stardust Memories
Celebrity
Stay away from: Manhattan Murder Mystery
Mighty Aphrodite
Small Time Crooks
Scoop
Vicky Cristina Barcelona
Woody's a very unbalanced director. He doesn't always gets it right most of the time (some would argue half the time), but he has good stuff in his catalogue. Hope that helps. ;) Manhattan
The Purple Rose of Cairo
Hannah and Her Sisters
Shadows and Fog
Sweet and Lowdown
The Curse of the Jade Scorpion
Melinda and Melinda
Anything Else
Whatever Works
