Isn't it great! I waited a long time to start but I'm glad I am finally watching it. Man, the clothing of the early 90's is horrendous. What was up with all the shoulder pads?
Mulder's character is great, we are only about 10 episodes in. What's encouraging is that the series ran for so long that I have a feeling we will take our time with it. It sucks when you get in to a series and it's cancelled 2 seasons in. i.e. Rome, Jericho, Arrested Development and worst of all Carnival.

How funny that you guys are doing it. My SO and I started few months ago to watch them. I recall some episodes and even dialogs from when I saw them ahem... 15 years ago but it makes lot more sense to watch it all at once now. We're somewhere in the 5th year now. Good luck!

Cool! Looks like you, me and forwardslash are on this journey together. I'm looking forward to watching them all and then watching the X-Files movie. I had watched it before but I bet I missed out on a lot of inside stuff.

I saw the first movie back in the days but having missed a lot of episodes and I didn't really like it (too much of every topic like it was committee-designed). I probably never saw any more episodes after that and went to the second movie few years ago and liked it a lot, as if it was back to the original flavour.

Moulder's ties are the best, and Scully has the best 'girlfriend face' as we call it.
We also just started watching Flash Forward which is good, but we'll be bummed out when it doesn't end conclusively.

I loved it. To me the telling thing was that I enjoyed watching every character (except sometimes the lead, but not because he was acted badly or something, he's just a flawed individual who was making stupid mistakes with his relationship with his wife).
