My child has an endless well of creative and social energy. She wants someone's attention every moment, It's exhausting. Sometimes the ts wondrous. I've considered locking myself in a closet for 20 min before, just to get a break but I know she'd only knock on the damn door "dad, what ya doing, I made something, you got to see it."Being an introvert with an increasingly extroverted kid is draining.

Yep. My brother was much closer to that ... thankfully my daughter isn't that extreme (at least not yet). She's about halfway between what you describe and my cave-dwelling self, which I suppose is a healthy balance.
