To be clear - I am not at all excited about an ex-Goldman anti-semite calling the shots for the free world. But I think it's lazy for the Left to think that the Right is any less terrified of what's coming.

Do you agree with this former Breitbart editor's claim that:

    All I can say is that tribal politics on the far left has created an upsurge in tribal politics on the right. Which doesn't mean that all of the people who voted for Trump are involved in tribal politics, but it does mean that the sort of tribal language we've seen in recent years has spread across the aisle.

If you agree, what do you think the end result will be? I have a sense that increasing tribalization is bad, even if understandable in the context of our planet becoming much more interdependent, as one would expect some pushback. I just don't see a way out of it, other than a third-act catastrophe that causes us all to magically resolve our differences. But even that seems unlikely--we can't even agree that global warming is man-made.
