More real work, yes. I'm saying the US has more people doing more work, not that the US has useless jobs. We use all our labor, where the Europeans do not use it as much. Leads to happier people, but not in the long run.

Trust me, I'm a big fan of making jobs disappear. However, we should always be replacing those jobs with new, real, jobs. And being an entertainer, making products for you and your family, or even just socializing for the sake of mulling ideas about is all a form of labor that can and will eventually be monetized as classical labor stops needing workers.
