I've been saying in whispers all along that if Trump made it this far, it would only be to pad his ego. The money laundering feature never crossed my mind... I like it...

I'm waiting to see him drop out at the last minute. He'll blame something, or some one for something not being "fair" and he'll just drop out.

and then in some back room of a back room he'll high five Bill and Hillary and say "yah welcome"

Naaah. He enjoys martyrdom too much. I think Trump wants nothing quite so much as being able to say "I told you so" for every conceivable slight over the coming decade. It would not surprise me at all to find out that Donald Trump watched Sarah Palin's post-electoral career with jealousy and decided he could benefit from a similar experience.

Trump benefits more, as a personal brand, from going down in flames because "the Establishment" doesn't want him to win. If his campaign dies by his own hand he will forever be "a quitter."

probably right... but fun to think about...

Regardless of if he wins or loses, we are going to have a civil war. His supporters will start it if he loses, his detractors will start it if he wins.

No. We won't. As a collective whole, no group is desperate or angry enough to resort to such a ridiculous thing and the national landscape is not in that dire of a situation.
