I don't remember any controversy either. I was just leaving open the possibility because it seems amazing in retrospect that there wasn't any. Maybe it was because he was using a boy and an animal as the vehicles to deliver his messages. People through history have been killed for asking philosophical and religious questions from the minority. It would be amazing if he didn't get any hate for his views.
