Currently reading John Ronson's Lost at Sea which, rather than one big book on one big thing, is a bunch of essays. They're great. I'll bet he'd be awesome to hang out with.

Holy shit that guy sounds interesting as fuck. When you're done with the book, let me know what you think of it. I might want to order myself a copy.

You do Audible? Apparently I can share one book per person for free. Although I wouldn't start witu that one, I'd start with Them: adventures with extremists which is also a series you can find on YouTube called "the secret rulers of the world."

Honestly? With the exception of one digital album that my friend got for me from Bandcamp, all of my media purchasing is stuck in the 20th century. Physical books, CDs, and Blu-Rays are my thing. Is audible a good deal? What's your opinion of it?

I've been giving them $20 a month for about nine years. I own a thunderous amount of audiobooks but I listen to them avidly. I literally burned through The Poisonwood Bible on a single valve lash adjustment on the Benelli. Some people don't, though.

Hmm. I like physical media, but my wife is a huge fan of podcasts and such and doesn't mind making digital purchases. I'm gonna bring this up to her, see if it's something she might like.
