They're all crazy but this one is pants on head, swinging a dead cat by the tail in the corner crazy. The Dems is fairly normal except there should be one candidate by now. But the brokered convention we seem headed for with the Republicans hasn't happened since 1976. Even then the two front runners weren't loathed by the party. This is some fucked up shit this year.
Bush v. Clinton was interesting, mostly because of Ross Perot mixing things up. Bush v. Gore was memorable for the whole recount fiasco. McCain v. Obama was memorable for bringing out the racists. This though? This one seems extra weird.
Sanders wanted to force Clinton to recognize that there is still a Progressive/Left wing to the Democratic Party. He said when he announced that he could win, and has been saying that publicly for just about forever. Not sure if it took him winning a state or two to really push the 'We Can Win" but the lip service has been there from day one.
