Haven't watched it yet, but I read the highlights. It sounds like Bernie is finally getting pissed off enough to attack her. Good. Mudslinging is bad, but it's also really hard to win a defensive war. It sounds like he's finally being assertive enough to call out her glaring hypocrisy.

It was infuriating when he 'lost' the last debate, after she claimed hedge fund managers hate her, having attended a fundraiser for them less than a week prior, and he failed to point that out (or much else).

Favorite segment:

Sanders also urged Clinton to release copies of the speeches she gave to Wall Street, for which Wall Street gave her millions of dollars. Clinton said she would release transcripts when everyone did, to which Sanders threw his arms in the air: “Here it is! There ain’t nothing! I don’t give speeches on Wall Street.”

Also,

Clinton pitched herself the pragmatist; she argued that the bank also helps small businesses

…interesting. Up 'til now, the only ones we've heard cry 'helps small business' about welfare-for-the-rich were Republicans. But Clinton's not a Republican. Definitely not.

“You know…” Clinton interjected, before Sanders cut her off: “Excuse me, I’m talking,”

The whole stopping her interruptions thing? I feel like one of his aides must have really pressured him, and said, "You gotta stop her, if you keep letting her interrupt you, you're never gonna win a debate." Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like he wouldn't start that on his own unless someone had a serious Face The Music sit-down with him.

Yeah, he was strong throughout except in the section about Sandy Hook parents sueing gun manufacturers. She was full of shit, evoking kids with backpacks -but she was effective. He floundered. -whatever.

Can't stand her lies. It's hard for me to watch her.

I reject the premise that being president requires a person with compromised integrity.

Yeah, I used to get annoyed when people said they wouldn't vote because all the options are bad, but I'm getting to that point. Now that the big social issues have been mostly resolved by the Supreme Court, it feels like the Establishment of both parties are warmongers, and it's really just a question of how you want the economy destroyed.

What's that? Just sayin'.

Look, I'll vote for whatever Democrat makes it to the finals, not because I'm a blind partisan but because both options are preferable to the three opposite front-runners right now. Yes, even Clinton. I don't actively like her, I just don't dislike her enough to give the most important election maybe of our generation to the likes of Donald J. Trump.

I feel an analogy coming on.

"What do you want for dessert, grasshoppers or tree bark?"

  "Uhh, neither?"

"Not an option. You have to pick one."

"Ok, just give me one randomly."

"What‽ But tree bark is so much better than grasshoppers? It's crunchy, and doesn't squirm. Why wouldn't you pick the best one?"

"But you can roast grasshoppers, and they're healthy. It's apathetic people like you who are ruining dessert!"

"Look guys, I'm just trying to read my book over here. And not vomit."

Woah, that's a really weird analogy.

And for the record, I'm not saying you shouldn't, uh, vote for chocolate. I'm just saying that in the event that chocolate isn't on the menu by the time we, er, actually get to dessert... fuck it, I'm confused.

I'd pick grasshoppers, they're actually not bad.

"Oh, and there's chocolate this time. But you shouldn't pick that. The grasshoppers will probably devour it before we get to it. You'll just be disappointed."
