For creating a language I'd direct you to /r/conlangs, the Zompist language construction kit and the ZBB, Aveneca and the CBB, conlang.org, conlangery.com and Frathwiki for conlang-related information. For general information about linguistics, I'd recommend /r/linguistics, /r/asklinguistics, /r/badlinguistics, and Wikipedia, obviously, which isn't that bad. If you have access to a library, I'd also recommend the book "Describing Morphosyntax" by Thomas E. Payne, which is surprisingly readable. Also you could just ask me for help, because I'm not completely ignorant on the subject either. Hit me up on IRC. I'm always awake at this time. I have no experience with trying to make a religion. Try /r/worldbuilding maybe? I'm sure there's some group of people somewhere that have done it.
