Console hardware is optimized for gaming. I'm not interested in the pc master race debates, just needed to correct the false assertion they aren't.
I know they're optimized - my assertion is that they're not as well optimized as previous console generations or modern PC drivers. Nvidia's been stepping up their driver game in the last years. GTA V for example runs better on a 960 than on an Xbox.
This is the case today. And I'm not sure what previous generations you're referring to, the 360 at launch had less optimizing tools and ps3 was basically impossible to program for. I could care less which you prefer, I just wanted to correct the false information.Remember when consoles were a good alternative to PCs, because the hardware inside was more expensive and optimized than a similarly-priced PC?
