...some questionable choices there. For example, Saudi Arabia is bombing Yemen. Technically, Bahrain is shia.In addition to Saudi Arabia, the coalition will include Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Benin, Turkey, Chad, Togo, Tunisia, Djibouti, Senegal, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Gabon, Guinea, the Palestinians, Comoros, Qatar, Cote d'Ivoire, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Maldives, Mali, Malaysia, Egypt, Morocco, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria and Yemen.
They're only bombing the shia though, at least officially. I think the Saudi backed dictator is supposedly back in the country and at least nominally in control of a small section of it. I'm sure his pledge to continue to let the Saudis pummel his country counts as "anti-terrorism" by their standards.
There's a lot more West African countries than I expected. And yeah, some weird ones. I wonder if they are aiming to incorporate other countries too later. Indonesia or Oman maybe. Plus how the inclusion of the Palestinians will affect relations with Israel.
