According to your article she was convicted 15 years before starting the transition. Maybe part of her criminal behaviour came from some kind of instability, prior to discovering and starting the reassignment process? I don't know, but from the article nobody can't tell either. Does she have to go to the men room forever in order to avoid people bringing her past up every single time?

I'm not advocating discriminating against her in any way. I just have a pessimistic view of how these things affect other trans people.

So I read this article and tried to find more information about Paul(a) Witherspoon and don't find anything about child molestation. Not saying I don't buy it, but can you site your reference?

yeah, not exactly the woman you want carrying the "discrimination banner". Though she was likely discriminated against, she doesn't make the best "poster girl" for equal rights. I guarantee this gets more publicity because of this though and it will fuel the "pedophiles are going to wear dresses to sneak into the ladies room paranoia" Bummer.

Well, I suppose there's no use dwelling on hypotheticals. Realistically this will never have any effect on me. So I'll just go drown my frustration with a vegan cheeseburger. It will be delicious.

Enjoy the vegan "cheeseburger". I'm no vegan but I love me some veggie burgers. There's a place called Dane's in Durham that makes a great one. I'm pretty sure it's just a store bought patty but they pile on the pickles and tomato's. Pretty good stuff.
