We should pick a marathon somewhere where neither of us live and run it together in 2013 or even late 2012. What do you say? Or perhaps there's one in BC that I should fly out for?
Question is, do you want to run a full marathon with me?

I'd love to! It will have to do with finances. I had mentioned 2013 because we are already traveling so much in 2012, mostly weddings. I'll take a look at flights and see what it costs. If they are reasonable, I'm in.

I want to! I was all set up to run in the 1/2 marathon at the very least but today, literally 2 hours ago I realized it falls on my father in laws 60th birthday. I tried to plead with the wife, but there's just no way. I understand too, he's a good guy and I think it would disappoint him if I wasn't' there. 60 is a big one.
Complete bummer, I was really looking forward to it. I had already talked several people (bgood79), in to doing it with me. I'll run it next year for sure. 61 isn't that important of a birthday. Neither is 35...which is me on Sunday -(can't believe that shit)

Ha. Another dude in his 30's isn't such a bad place to be. 40 is the one I'm not really into turning. Any Hubbies out there have any 'Turning 40' wisdom?
