How about using Hypemachine? By using it for the past 3 years I have found loads of good music. When I noticed that music that I liked is posted by some blogs more than others, I went and boomarked them. I bet this also happens with others :)

I have used Hype Machine before but it seems geared more towards song premieres as opposed to reviews and interviews and the format I'm going for.
