I, too, hate Michael Kors. I'm shocked those boots don't have a giant "MK" somewhere on them. Are you going for knee-high? (As in, just below the knee?) They look pretty tall in the picture, which is always a concern. This week is going to be awesome. I bought a new purse this week! Something that only happens once in a blue moon... Since it is brand spankin' new with the intoxicating smell of leather (and oh god so soft). Normally I'm too practical to be "trendy", but I'm bringing my A-game this season.
I think most brands are scaling away from the logos slapped on everything. That's very 2000s. Coach has totally rebranded and it's pretty tasteful. I'm short (5'4") so I'm looking for just below the knee. I tried to find them in the mall last weekend so I can try them on but no such luck... I looooove that purse. Fossil makes very tasteful pieces. I'm angling for a new work purse as a graduation present come spring and I'm looking for something like that.
Agreed, Coach has some gorgeous purses. I think that's why I've liked Matt and Nat for some time too - just very simple, very elegant purses for every outfit. Definitely try them on! It's super important for shoes to fit well, especially if you're trying to make them a staple for your wardrobe. Right? I highly recommend the Sydney satchel. Everything else I've found is generally much bigger than this, but it's the perfect size and comes in so many colours.
I'm the kind of person who needs to carry everything with me all the time, so I love huge bags. When I was looking for my first work bag, I was very tempted to buy diaper bags because they're so huge I can carry my laptop and notebooks and paperbacks etc with me at all times. I know this is terrible for my back but ...
