I lived on Colorado for a long time, and moved to Wisconsin about three years ago. People here find it hard to believe that my school would be closed at times because a bear was in town, or that my pre-school went to visit a cub trapped in a tree and watch them tranquilizer it. Seemed like there were less as time went on, I'd guess because there was more traffic up higher, and the bears had more issues with the roads.
