Mozilla’s Firefox and Google’s Chrome browsers blocked old versions of Adobe 's Flash animation software — often used to play online videos — following news reports that hackers were using a security bug to take over peoples’ computers.

Maybe this large of an issue will finally be enough to force companies to move off Flash. It seems like "Flash" and "something good" are never in the same title. Yeah, it might be quick and easy to make something interactive, but the software is slow and more diseased than a cheap hooker. A lot of sites with forethought have already moved on to HTML5, so maybe this will be enough to finally get the rest on board.
