I was homebrewing with friends in college. Now I'm going to have to get new equipment and do it by myself if I'm going to continue with this. We've made some pretty good beers, our pumpkin porter recipe is my favorite but our hefe is pretty good. Definitely a craft beer enthusiasts, it's to the point where the majority of my beer money is spent at local microbreweries and I haven't been buying as much at stores lately.
A pumpkin porter sounds so delicious! I've not had much luck with porters, they usually either turn out to watery or too roasty? Not sure if that last one is a word... In GA, they just changed the law so we can purchase beer in the breweries now (a limit of only 72 oz) but at least it's a start! So naturally, I've already gone through my beer money for the month.
