I honestly don't know why it turned into a fight. I agree with 8bit, it really should have stopped before then. Of course, I don't know either side of the conversation, but if he was being a dick and provoking an argument, you could have been the better man and not cooperate. If you were being a dick and provoking a fight, then... well, don't. All that said, his reaction at the very end was immature.
