I am a bit pissed of (at myself). I filed a provisional patent in '95 for a socially modeled p2p system. "Gertrude" was the 'salon', and "circles" a canonical life-model of 'home', 'heart', and 'hand' (personal/relatives, elective affinities, work, and 'zero' for the world at large. What they still don't have is the mapping of the affinity groups (above) to zero-knowledge cyclical cryptographic controls. (That's when sense say name came about ..)
