I have no doubt this will happen. We will create something that will quickly become smarter than us, and take over. The next stage of evolution will be man-made. I'm strangely ok with this. Humans are pitifully weak as it is. Bags of skin that leak fluid constantly and have to tended to, filled with food and liquid, and die much too soon.

I feel a little bit sad that I'm not one of the machines that will rule the world in the next generation, probably around the year 2045 but by 2099 according to Ray Kurzweil. But maybe they'll include us in their plans. Meh. "Life" goes on, yes?

When we replace all our parts with AI technology and humans, as we know them, disappear, we can call it the extingularity.
