Well, if people were using it the company wouldn't be laying people off, no?
I think it would be inaccurate to say people aren't reading the NYT in some form of media. The problem is more that not enough people are paying for it to make up for the cost of the pre established structure. The entity is too big, as opposed to the entity has no use.
