Submitted my first first-author scientific paper this week, feels good to finally have it out the door.

Now I'm casting about for a new direction I'd like to work in...

Plus some reading for the soul, I'm surprised that I've never seen anyone on here give this book some loving.

I have not read a lot of the Russians at all to be honest. I was very fond of A Day In The Life of Ivan Denisovich, though. And the diamond necklace story which I find myself still thinking of to this day although I read it 8-9 years ago.

This must be remedied.

Congrats!

What field do you work on? And what was the paper about? (If I may ask)

Congrats thundara. That's a good feeling.

I've never read The Brothers Karamazov. In fact, I haven't read any Dostoevsky sans some of Crime and Punishment long ago. It's a failing.

Why the new direction?

Never touched any of him before, but I like what I've read so far (On book 2)!

(See PM on direction)
