Reading that reminded me of the first time I stumbled upon the PoIC wiki, which hosts a translation of a gentleman's effort to create a similar system with pen and paper. The end result rather simple set of rules that quickly becomes a body that I can only describe as both beautiful and a clerical nightmare.
