I truly do. Thanks for thinking of me :) This hits home on many fronts and I wonder if I'd like this writer if I met him in real life. I don't usually go for this type of poem, but I did enjoy this one. I don't know if it's that I can't sprawl in the way that this writer does because I feel like writing helps me find things and that writing in a longer form makes me feel lost or if it's just that I'm preoccupied with the misunderstandings that can happen at the slip of the tongue. Where did you find this by the way?
I love The Silver Jews. Berman's stream of consciousness poetry and lyrics has always appealed to me. Pick up their album American Water, it's fantastic. Glad to have introduced you to him.
