Yeah. I saw Radiohead when they toured for Amnesiac. They're probably the best band in the world still. I almost flew to Japan to see Atoms for Peace last year too. Would have been a great show with Flea, Nigel, Joey. I just couldn't make it happen though. I'm a HUGE Radiohead fan. I used to face my speakers toward eachother and sit between them with The Bends on blast.

Atoms for Peace played their second Amok concert in Amsterdam a year ago. It's the only RH show I've been to but holy fuck that was amazing. They also played Feeling Pulled Apart by Horses and Rabbit in Your Headlights halfway through. I really hope they release a high quality live recording.

OH MY FUCK THAT"S MY FAVORITE ALBUM. edit: I know that's an unpopular opinion, very close second-up would be hail to the thief.

I definitely don't hear that album praised enough. One can't play Revolving Doors loud enough for me.

The concert was great. There were tiny cameras mounted all over the stage that showed up on these big screens. One camera was attached to the head of Johnny's guitar. Killer shot.

It was an outdoor show in the middle of nowhere and I was really late showing up so I had to park all the way down this dirt road. I just remember running in the dark through all these fields of cars, all the while hearing Idioteque ringing through the air. Will never forget that feeling.

For me, it doesn't get any better than The Bends, it's a near perfect album IMO. Though a ton of that is tied to when I first heard it etc. Nostalgia. Actually, it does remind me quite a bit of that small studio apartment you had in A2. I have annoyed all their albums but that one for me is pure rock and I appreciate it for that. Super guitar driven, I love the lyrics etc.

You have a favorite?

No real favorite. It's all good really, except for a few flat tracks here and there. I do have a soft spot for the Kid A/Amnesiac era because I feel that that's when they really started to explore in the studio. Even Thom has said that during the early albums, they didn't really know how a studio worked or how to be effective with one. I think that OK Computer was the culmination of one type of sound and structure that they were perfecting for years. It's really cool to see that progression of their work. There aren't a lot of bands that I can think of whose albums display a consistent growth. The Beatles being the best example. What's with British bands?
