This is a bit of a stretch, its still pretty easy to find the information elsewhere using other search engines or discussions around the interwebz that link to the article in question. Author got a little riled up there but either way this is an absurd law.But because the law exists, we have no idea what the truth is.

Far from it unfortunately. I'm a former Geek Squad repair tech and now I'm in the IT department for a call center so I know the average user far too well. I suppose the more I can broadcast that there are easy work arounds the better? Help the average user out, no?
