If you die, yes! If you're just saving and quiting, though, I'm pretty sure it starts you back where you are.

I should probably double check on that, though, it was like that back in the day, so they might have changed it...

So far as I know, quitting and re-joining has always been a cheaty way of getting back to spawn with no mirror.

Hmm...I'll look into it on my Vita tonight! I have to watch the Road for class first...that's gonna be depressing.

Guh that movie was a hard watch. I don't think I even finished it.

This will be my third watch.

What I've learned is that I'm becoming more empathetic as I get older, which makes it harder to watch every time.

Do what do you attribute that evolution? Anything specific? Do you think people inevitably become more empathic or more cynical? Both?

Any progress on your dvh ap?

Application sent!

I've become more cynical and disillusioned about certain things as I've gotten older, yeah. The longer I spend time in college, the longer I notice trends that don't help people with similar attributes as me.

But, I've also become more caring to people close to me. The fact that I'm such a closed-off person to most people means opening up to those select few is less like a trickle of emotions and more like the recent hail&thunder-storm we got last week.

I also think that increase in empathy comes from being more aware of the lives of other people. The younger version of my didn't care about how anything effected anyone except himself. The more I struggle through things and become a more caring person, and the more I listen, actually listen, to the struggles of those people I'm close to, the more empathetic I become.
