Hey guys, so this badass dude named Jordan Cross (Reignwolf) is a big deal to me, and for his ridiculous talent he has such little recognition. He recently got a sweet hookup, opening for Black Sabbath on their tour after consistently pulling off feats of awesome, like ranking in the top 3 at Austin City Limits-- over Jack White.
If you haven't heard of this blues-rock legend-to-be, I can't even suggest a particular song because he hasn't released an album yet. But YouTube search "Reignwolf KEXP" and check out his singles like "Are You Satisfied?" To me he's a walking flashback of a wicked time of unabashed, raw "cock-rock" as a critic put it, and he gets cheesy and flashy but it's all part of the fun-- he's talented and there is no apology.
I got a hotel room overnight (edit: cheap room link), not that I'll be needing it post-concert and out in Philly for the first time. Whatever you guys want to do is allllllll fine by me.
I'm lame and spotty when it comes to organizing things like this and covering bases, tag whoever you know is around that might want to come, cause i dont really know where any of you are. Questions or ideas or whatever if you're interested in meeting for the show just comment, I'll edit in whatever info I'm missing.
Oh and you can eat lunch out for more than the price of this show. The more people I'm meeting, the more my mom will back off my ass, so please save me. Looking forward to enjoying some glorious fire-music together.
unique clips to show the awesome potential: 2:15

I will also be in philadelphia that night, and also for a show. It will not be that one however; I will be seeing legendary Neutral Milk Hotel at the Mann. Would provide reference links but I'm on mobile. After our mutual concerts, however, us twain shall have to meet. I live an hour from the filthadelphia, aka killadelphia, aka etc. Awesome.
Aaah, I'm seeing them at Prospect Park in NYC! Must keep in touch and make it happen.
Yeah I actually saw them in January (maybe it was Feb) at the Union Transfer in Philadelphia, it was amazing and great and one of the best concerts I've ever been to so I'm really looking forward to this one. Plus my concert-going has severely decreased in the last year (got burnt out on it after a year of 16+ concerts & festivals) so it's going to be a nice little occasion for me.
I used to go to concerts all the time. On average, 40 a year, for four years between the time I was 16 until I was 20. I miss doing it so much. I miss having the money to do it. I'm probably averaging 5 a year now, but my god are they extremely high quality shows. In the last month I saw Ray LaMontagne and Swans. Those will stay in my memory for a very long time.
Are you staying in the Doubletree in Center City pabst? I don't want to make the drive back if we're gonna stay up and out late and drinking (do you have an ID btw cough cough don't tell me what kind of ID it is just tell me if you can get into bars with it) or feel free to PM me if you don't want stalkers to know
While I can't make it (so bummed out by the way...), thank you for introducing me to Reignwolf. His music is awesome, and it seems like he has a lot of fun doing what he does, especially in this video:
He's very clear, positive, and seems really grateful of his crowd or hosts during a show. There's just a lot to respect, wicked skills aside. Next time man!
Talk about a throwback, Reignwolf is on a new tour and I'm going. Just bought the tickets, only $25 what a steal.
Oh hell yeah. Digging up that 4-year-old post lmao. I hope he's got some new music, I'll never forget how dope his show was.
