If we don’t protect our intellectual property, international criminals — as well as legitimate businesses like payment processors and ad networks — will continue to profit dishonestly from the work these Americans are doing every day. And that puts these millions of jobs at serious risk.

International criminals. C'mon, Al. This was a huge disappointment.

The language of the bill was vague, very broad, and required only judicial oversight for extreme action. It could easily be abused, and it was written to limit recourse. To suggest that so many are reading it wrong is offensive.

To suggest that so many are reading it wrong is offensive. I completely agree. Just because he was a sketch comic/writer on SNL doesn't mean he has a greater appreciation for what's at stake. I like how he was able to link it to the many jobs Minnesota loses because of piracy. What a joke. I bet Minnesota loses more jobs based on weather fluctuations than it does piracy. Rhetoric meant to scare and confuse.
