I wanted to get a mini protank II, but I got the regular one instead, as it was in stock. I don't get what all the complaints were about in regard to the protank II; I don't find it airy at all. Although, on my twist, it does have a "probe" type vibe (har har!).
I don't find it too airy. I do know when my battery is about to die though because I get airy hits. But that's because the battery isn't giving enough juice and doesn't have anything to do with the protank itself. Also, I got Thug Juice when I did my last order of Hawk Sauce and I'm in love. Plus I feel gangsta. :P I can't remember what your preferences for juice are but, if you like Hawk Sauce or semi-fruity, semi-menthol, flavors that don't have any super distinctive taste (ie: watermelon or orange which taste exactly as expected), I would strongly recommend Thug Juice.
I haven't tried either of those flavors from Mt. Baker, but I've been wondering about them. I've got pear, vanilla and cucumber mint juices from Mt. Baker at the moment. I can't tell if the cucumber mint tastes different this time around because I ordered a different volume and it needs to steep more, if there's been some kind of mistake in mixing it, or if the mint gets muted in my protank for some reason. Next time around I might get a little bottle of each of those to try out.
You guys should try the aerotank (or at least the base, as it works with the PT2 + 3). It basically is an adjustable valve that allows you to regulate how airy your draw is. The real win, though, is that it completely seals the connection with the battery, so no juice can get down there, which, I find, is the source of almost all gurgling.
