I don't think sednoids (or a planet ~5 Earth masses) were necessarily captured or generated early in our solar system's history, stars get mixed around with quite a bit of turbulence over galactic time spans. Then we also have the motion of the solar system bobbing up and down about the plane shown in the above simulation. We've very recently hypothesized that this motion may be hazardous to your health. Always nice to see SwRI in the news... ;)
