This makes me retch. There was a lot of analysis on the different perspectives towards Russian aggression, the newest trend is that we're being fed an American sponsored lie that Russia is the bad guy when in fact we're deeply misunderstanding the Russian, it's all more complicated than that. Instead of focusing on Russia, the pendulum needs to swing back, we need to get out of the Soviet v West paradigm, etc. But my thoughts on all this seem to overlap neatly with this satirical newspaper. Putin was allowed to do whatever it is he (and the people he's trying to please) wanted. Where do we enforce the moral hazard of unconstitutionally and illegally annexing a country?
